Vintage "Green23" Guards
We offer TWO different green guards...Top "Green23" which is a bit lighter with a hue of blue/grey like you find on some old ones and our "Vintage Collection" guard which is a just a bit more green...if you check the web you will find both colors, since the specs was different in the years and lots.
New for June 23 our "Green23" Guard...amazing close to the old Fender Celluloid/Nitrate Guards! The best Green guard (ABS) we've ever had...great specs, Color, Vintage Bevel, different deep countersunk holes for pickups and mounting Screws, smooth bevel, light opac toplayer and ligther color bottom like the real deal!
This guard looks fantastic if you looking for a guard in light or Standard ageing since you see most of the fantastic color. These guards are aprx. 2,4mm thickness a bit thinner compare to our "Vintage Collection" in this case the In-Bleeding visual effect is a bit more pronounced, The difference in thickness is not that big we dont think anybody will note this really.
About our ageing...we ageing guitar parts for nearly 30 years! Our guards are carefully prepared before we start the ageing process...bevel get smooth nice worn-in look and feel, most guards have the typical (Similated not real broken) crack at neckpickup hole, semigloss Nitrate style Bevel, and finally a not overdone ageing! We dont scratch surface of your guards like most other builders do, because it doesn't looks authentic! Check the pictures and you will see our details of ageing.

Note: Not all Premium ageing options are available for all colors,since materials and color changed over the years on vintage guitars in this case they aged different not same like old Nitrate Guards! We try to offer guards which you will find most on the specific years. Please check check color for ava. options...Sorry we don't do any Customageing for several reasons!
