3-ply Vintage Bevel
Our VCL "Vintage Collection" Guards...matched close to old Nitrate Guards, have correct thickness (0.100" / 2.54mm) with a thick black middle layer and tooling marking from router.

Like the old Celluloid guards or green guards are buffed to give them a smooth soft rounded bevel, they have the inbleeding look, the black middles layer bleeding into the slightliy translucent just like the real deal!

Different aging levels...why? Because tastes are different!
Old Nitrate guards looks often very clean even on guitars that show a lot of signs of wear and tear...some have still the original color, some have light discoloration overall, some have discoloration under the stringarea some left & right of strings!
In this case we offer 4 different aging levels!
NOS Premium Ageing
"NOS" this is a new guard but buffed for nice Vintage apperance with glossy bevel.
-Particulary rounded vintage gloss bevel
VOS Premium Ageing
"VOS"-Aged: Like the guard of a "NEAR MINT" Condtion guitar. not often played...we say stored under bed guitar.
-No dicoloration of the guard itself
