Genuine Switchcraft part
-For 2 pickup guitars - pickup positions neck, bridge and both (center position)
-Nickel finish
-Standard nut for mounting
-Measurements - body length below threads is 1 16/32" , threaded area length is 7/32"
You will need a deep threaded nut(sold separately) if you will be installing this switch though the guitar body like on a Gibson Les Paul.
**NOTE** Switchcraft pre-tins all lugs with solder from the factory. SWITCH TIP SOLD SEPARATELY

Do different types of capacitors have different sound qualities?
Changing the type and value of capacitor used in your guitar's wiring harness can have an effect on the overall sound of your guitar. We have compiled a list of sound characteristics for each different type of capacitor, but please remember that all changes to tone are subjective and each user could understandably derive different sound traits from any component change.

Ceramic Disc - Flat sounding, slightly harsh or edgy. Often used in 70's Guitars

Oil Filled ( MOD PIO) - Slightly warmer/darker and smoother

Metalized Film (Orange Drop) - Flat sounding with a little more warmth and transparency than ceramic disc.
In regards to cap values, this really depends on how much and how quickly you want the treble to roll off. The higher the value, the more treble will be rolled off.

Our New "SVT" Soft Vintage Taper pot has CTS Taper "H" 25% this is a nice option if the player prefer a med. gain or cleaner sound setting or want a softer sweep down in the lower Volume range, also here is the same...its depending on the players personal experience and taste.
